I have the above monitor, I calibrated it with a clour munki display. It maybe is ready for doing again. I sent some prints to a friend who has his monitor calibrated, not the same monitor though, he thinks my colours are slightly too green/ yellow. I have just had a quick look, at the brightness only, this is showing at 50%. I am not very techy on this, so what could I do, to make sure it is correct. Thanks in advance

Nothing is stopping me, just wondered if I was missing something. Just checking before I start

No no Andy, its well above, i've looked before, it goes well over my head. That is why i bought the colour munki to try and simplify. Thank you anyway.

I calibrated my Dell with preset mode standard, brightness 25 contrast 50

I have run the colour munki on it, not using the ambient or the flare measurements, my brightness & contrast have come out slightly higher than your values mentioned though.

Dave, have you had some prints done & those figures ok. Will check mine later, I'm not techy on all this, just after nice skin tones and punchy colours. Thanks for your help

Right Guys, I have tried to calibrate my monitor, Am I using the colour munki correctly?
My room is darkened, I turn the computer on, obviously the software for c m is installed, place the device on screen, I have gone to advance mode, and let it do its thing, I have not manually altered anything, am I doing this correctly,? Many thanks in advance

Choose a brightness level manually.

Set it to about 100cd/m2 (I think that's the level).

there will be a message asking you to set the brightness correctly then setting contrast to maximum and sorts that. I think my brightness/contrast is 17/63

Once that's sorted it will then follow through on the colour profile

Hi Jango I have just had a thread (one above yours) on using the ColorMunki properly. I was getting poor results until Connersz put me right in the print menu side of things. Now I am getting great results so why not look at his advice. I didn't get involved in any of this brightness/contrast stuff. I was getting to the stage of chucking the C M In the bin!!

Hi Merv thank you for that, I have had a look, I only have the display version of the colour munki, I send mine away for printing, but sadly lots sitting on computer, not printed in ages, so I just wanted to try and get my monitor right.
