Is it a case of a dry cloth, or what can I do to get the grip to the way it was when the lens was new.
Any help much appreciated.
Any help much appreciated.
Soft toothbrush should get down into the nooks and crannies and shouldn't do any damage.
Hope all's not too grim "up North", John - and regards to 'er indoors!
sof ttooth brush, then I was thinking of trying that dashboard, back to black stuff....
Agree on the toothbrush, but I wouldn't go applying anything, especially if it's from an aerosol. You could use a tiny amount of water if you needed to shift more stubborn bits of detritus.
Toothbrush. Bit of water, Knock the excess off then use carefully
Another here for the toothbrush
Depends what lens. My 24-70 canon lens, I removed the rubber from the lens and washed in fairy liquid and with a small brush.
I take the grip off (carefully!), into a bowl with fairy liquid and warm water, toothbrush, grip back on, looks new.
A boot polish brush which has just been used on boots/shoes so there is a very minimal amount of polish within the brush fibres, honestly, this brings everything up better than brand new.
