Was actually more interested in the sunset and the reflections, when these chaps canoed past...

I like it Mike the canoeists work well in the shot, a shame they weren't on the right of shot, but it works very well. I think they needed space to move into, as they are they seem to have no space on the left hand side to move into.

:agree: I think there's a great photo in there somewhere, a sunset with silhouetted canoes in the frame, but if you weren't aware of them coming you wouldn't have had time to prepare as they move through the water quickly.
 
That's the one. :ty: It could take a tighter crop to lose some of the foreground but still leave space on the left as Steve suggested but its closer to the picture I hoped to see even though it's not what you were expecting to be photographing. This just shows how a picture can unfold as circumstances change and that the tog needs to keep their eyes open for the changes.
