I have some images for a client who wanted them all prepared for 10x8 printing so they are 3000px x 2400px. He has now asked if I could put them in a slideshow for him and it would be easy for me just to use these images and build with Proshow............or so I thought. When viewed from a DVD on a TV they look poor quality and very pixelated.

Any advice on settings, I haven't used this for a while so a bit rusty

Yep I think that was the issue. I ended up making a HD version and giving it to him an a stick but it will play on my TV but not his
 
A non-HD TV won't be able to reproduce images at a reasonable quality, and a very large HD TV likewise.
