Always enjoy this meeting at Brands Hatch, such awesome machinery. The Historic F1 race on Sunday was particularly fantastic with a fierce battle for the lead all the way. Here's a few shots, I've linked them from my Facebook so will have reduced the quality a bit.

Anyway, here's a few shots then... all taken with a 70D and 300mm lens. Sadly my memory card on the wider camera/lens I was using seems to have corrupted and won't read in the camera or PC :( Any suggestions on that would be most welcome as probably lost about 200-300 shots.

#5 Super Tourers

The big shame for the day was the Super Tourers race getting red flag and cancelled. I was looking forward to that. But it was quite a heavy accident so I hope Dave and the Nissan are ok and can get sorted for the Silverstone Classic as I'm sure he would like to be there!

C&C welcome as ever. Few more are up on my Facebook page here - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.874761329262643.1073741917.137105366361580&type=1 - and later in the week I'll put a proper gallery up on my site

cheers

2 was the best for me and Recuva the best for your card.

Another excellent set. #5 just shades #2 and #3 for me. That Peugeot train looks great, pin sharp back to OOF!
I would also recommend FileScavenger if Recuva doesn't get your files back.

Cool set inc the farcebook gallery as well - out of these it has to be #4, by far one of my favorite angles / locations on the GP circuit. Agree it was a shame the saloons didn't get to race but at least everyone was / is okay (as far as I am aware)

Another plug for 'Recuva' - fingers crossed you get your work back.

.DAVID.

Nice job on all, the Healey shot is my fave followed closely by the Brabham , # 4 is a great image but to me an ugly F1 as I never did like that nose.

Cheers. Yeh agree the 94 Benetton probably isn't the most attractive F1 car but we also had the yellow Lotus and that was gorgeous!! (although seen that a few times now)

Ref Recuva... I've tried it.... but the card is not read by the PC. When I go into "My Computer" it's as if the card is not plugged in. It can't be read in the camera either. I think somehow the filesystem on the card corrupted. I've tried Photorec which is kind of DOS based and that seems to "see" the 8GB card but scanning is SOOOOO slow... says it will take 230 hours lol. I left it for a day and it didn't find anything. Grrrrrr :help:

If all else fails you can send it to me and I can try FileScavenger for you. (No guarantees though!) I am away for a few days in Kent from today but I guess if the card is not recognised then you cannot format it and re-use?

Cheers bud, may be worth a punt if you don't mind. Nope PC is not recognising so can't just format and re-use. It's dud at the mo. If I could get PC to recognise it then I think could recover the shots, but as I say I think somehow the filesystem got corrupted. Joyous lol.

Pin sharp set Az liking the wheel lift in 2 as you say 3 is a lovely angle but got to be 4 a cracking shot
Cheers :) Surtees and Westfield are my 2 favourite GP angles, with Formula One machinery it's always nice... although very loud flat chat out of Surtees... as it should be!!! :)
