2015 Photo52 Challenge : WEEK 52 we finally made it and its "Christmas" into the bargain

Howdy all

I've taken the decision to put my 52 on hold for a while ( you may have noticed already !) Last month ,this month & next month are just stupid busy plus I'm really struggling to get enthused with the recent theme's....this weeks being no exception .I have got a couple of photo's for the last 3 weeks but I'm not happy with any of them so don't want to post for the sake of it.

I'll still keep an eye on the theme's & may well take photo's for them & have a big catch up at some point in July .In the meantime I will try to get round & comment on some of your threads.....that's the other thing I'm struggling with .I think after 4.5 years I'm suffering with burn out....need to start taking photo's for me again & get back to enjoying it rather than doing it out of habit. I'm still looking forward to the mega meet & meeting some of you in person:)

Thanks to everyone for your support this year & for the last 4...couldn't have got this far with out your help

Gonna miss you Lynne ... with your quality shots and with your quality "crit" ... but if you can't do it you can't do it. o_O
 
I'm not trying to follow in Lynnes footsteps, I am still in but a bit behind at the moment due to a large garden project which is taking up all my spare time at the mo. I may get three weeks behind before I can do a catch up but don't write me off.
 
Wow, submissions have really dropped of over the last few weeks compared to same time last year.

I suspect life is getting in the way but if anyone is having any problems why the/their project post here, there's plenty of advice and assistance available (y)

@posiview I was thinking the same, we all know how people feel, as we have all many a time had some tough weeks and lack of inspiration, and would like to add to all that are new to the 52, the tide DOES turn eventually, keep on in there eveybody (y)
 
@blondie606 shame to hear that Lynn, enjoyed your pics, hope everything calms down a bit for you and then we can see some more of your work later on.

I'm massively lost for inspiration on this weeks theme....
 
Behind again. But the problem I'm finding is the themes. Tbh sometimes its harder to come up with an interpretation of the theme than taking the shot once I've worked it out. Then I find I put off the shot because of the theme.
 
I'm still in but having major problem with internet connection here in my Cyprus apartment. I've actually taken this week's Bizarre shot but just not able to upload to any photos hosting sites for linking and download to here. Will keep trying and hoping for a suitable theme coming Friday.
 
Blimey... sounds like problems all round :)

Don't forget guys, you can play a Joker and shoot something else if the theme is a toughie, if not borrow a HUGE crowbar, most things can be shoehorned into a theme however tenuous, it adds to the fun and often you end up with a great entry shot by default (y)
 
It's Friday and it's wet & windy here in London ... not like the Cyprus weather I remember. :wave:

Only one more Friday after this one and I'm off to sunny Portugal for two Fridays.

What a coincidence, it's Friday here in Spain too ;)

A bit overcast and only 25 C :coat:

2 more weeks then I'm of to Madrid for a week for an early celebration of the end of my 60th year on this earth (Don't know what I did in my past lives to end up on this planet :thinking:)
 
I'm in Thailand at the moment, I have my two for the last two weeks, will post when I get back as I'm on the slowest internet ever.

Well if that theme had come out in week 52, I reckon we could have had a round of self portraits :LOL:

Stand by for an early morning theme this week, because I'm heading straight from work to Dunstable on Friday night for the Mega Meet (rather than traveling up on Saturday morning)
