Looking for a printer with a budget of up to £1000, printer needs to handle fine art papers. Thou will have to purchase printer from either John Lewis or Argos, reason being have won £1000 of vouchers from work.

Been watching you tube videos thou still at a loss

All help welcomed

You cannot lose with any of the three you mention :) All are pigment ink based printers and all will print A3+ or in the case of the 3880 A2. iirc the 3880 and pro 10 doesn't do roll fed paper whereas the 3000 does. The 3000 has been replaced with the SC-P600 btw ...

The reviews I've read seem to suggest the Epson have the slight advantage in quality but really it's all a wash. It seems more of a case of which will annoy you more; wasting a bunch of ink (and money) when switching between matt and photo black inks (if so, buy a Canon) or not being able to print borderless on heavy paper (if so, buy an Epson).

From our experience in the lab the HP's can sit for some time powered off and come straight to life, the Epsons heads can quickly clog if left.

I have a 3880, great printer, amazing images on both fine art and inexpensive Epson papers. Got it from Wex.
