I was out on Moel Eilio last night in very changeable conditions. At the summit I was in the cloud base and drenched but had a feeling that my descent would bring some interesting conditions as earlier the 'magic slot' was on the western horizon.

As you might imagine there was a lot of filter wiping going on!

You get a feel for the weather around here and I don't always get it right but last night I was spot on!

Like that a lot Nick - I'm so desperate to get out of East Anglia at the moment to visit some hills somewhere! Very envious!

Love the contrast across this shot, and fantastic light.... Love the golden light running down the ridge and the contrasting colour in the clouds as you rum across the frame. Lovely shot!
 
I love how the light is different in the different parts of the image and the double rainbow is fantastic. Well done.
