Yes
hi all as title says and limited with lens i can take, can pick from 14mm, 28-70mm,70-300,150-500mm and 150mm prime what would you take cheers

What's the camera? I think from that list it could be anything from 4/3 to full frame, and the different lenses take in a different field of view on each one.

Assuming full frame or APS-C, if I had to choose from that list I'd go with the 28-70mm. If 4/3, it would be a choice between the 28-70mm and the 14mm.

But this is all a function of how I see and approach my subjects. I may see things differently to you, and have different subjects.

I wouldn't choose a zoom at all myself, but rather a prime of the focal length I preferred. In my case that would normally be an 85mm (referenced to full-frame 35mm) and yes, that's a personal affinity, not for everyone. I feel that framing shots with a fixed focal length lens is a productive discipline, but the major reason for this choice could be that a prime may be less prone to flare (artefacts or veiling).

Hi, I would go 14mm, ,70-300mm and a polarizing filter for each;) carry to much gear and it becomes a chore rather than a pleasure

The 28-70 is the only lens there that doesn't have a specialised use, so it's a no-brainer really.

Though I would ask; why did you buy the 14mm (genuine question - it'll give an idea of your photographic mind)

14mm would produce interesting shots but limited, you don't mention what it is you're doing so I'd say 28-70 if it's landscape , 150-500 if it's birds, if it's both then they're the two you need

I'm going tomorrow to shoot from the hills down to the lake. I'm taking a Prime Lens. It's really interesting, other people's advice! Thanks for the help!
