Posting Camera with Batteries ??

Just sold a camera (Not on forum) and now I am wondering how I send the camera with the two batteries ??

Do people just not mention when asked or do you use a different courier than Royal Mail - I was going to use RMSD
 
essentially make sure any loose batteries have their contacts covered to prevent shorting.

make sure the monkeys at the PO know this and that they stick a battery inside sticker on it so they don't dispose of the parcel.

I have sent it RMSD and asked the bloke at the post office and he said it was OK to have a battery in the camera and one inside (like I have) the parcel but only for posting in the UK

Not sure if the girl who served me put a battery sticker on though and I did tell her :cautious:
