Had the sigma for a couple of years (non OS version). Found it to be excellent with a 1.4 tele fitted and you just get used to the weight.
However after checking what lengths I normally used it at - 18,000 pics Over 95% were at 420mm...

So sold it and bought the Nikon 300 prime.

The sigma I'd give 7/10 (with maybe another point for the zoom if that's important to you).

The Nikon 200 - 500 is interesting to me but I can't see the focussing speed being as quick, even though the zoom range is impressive.

Plenty of opinions on the Nikon 200-500 to be found here

Does really depend on your usage though.

The 120-300 even with a 1.4 tele (420mm) on a crop so 630 mm will only just work - (although you will be at f4)...

The 200-500 on a crop is 750mm f5.6 & if you have a 1.4 tele & a camera that will support f8 focusing (you haven't mentioned what camera) then that now puts you at 1050 f8..

Only you can decide if the difference in focusing speed v's the extra range is worth it.

I posted my thoughts regarding this lens here with some examples. For me, AF speed and accuracy (often goes hand in hand) is more important than focal length alone.
