Hi there, got my first digital SLR yesterday and so excited. Mainly to photograph my kids I've got Nikon D3300 with standard 18-55mm VR lens +Tamron 70-300mm. I was hoping they would be enough as I can't afford anything else at the moment but then started reading about all different lenses and suggestions, now a bit confused I guess I need to practice first.
I'm sure I will learn a lot from this community. Thanks for reading...

Don't buy anything else except some portable hard disks to back up your work :)
