A busy time of the year for me but a couple of weeks ago Le Mans went past in a blur. I wanted to try some new angles this year but found that my partner would rather sit and read her Kindle than fight through hordes of fans looking for the same shots ! So I ended up in the same area between the Ford Chicane and Tertre Rouge, shooting through the high fences that I had been for the last few years, maybe next year I'll get to explore .

#3 Corvette in the rain on Thursday night, at this point the Kindle had been put away and she was holding an umbrella over me ;)

Good work Paul, I hear its a nightmare to shoot the 24, but you've got a good set of shots from here.
The Toyota shot is right up my street, and the background blur on the Ford is sublime.
It's an event that I hope to get to one day, an itch that needs scratching!!

Really like these

Thank you ;)

I do go with the intention of trying different stuff but find the locations I want can't be accessed, due to the fences. I did intend on visiting the Porsche curves and the new viewing area at Indianapolis/Arnage, but never made it down there. It is a great event though , the Friday driver parade is a great photo opportunity and the atmosphere is always good. We stay around 10kms away in a really nice campsite and drive in, my partner would never stay at the circuit as it is a bit of a lads area only !

Amazing shots Paul - just said on another thread that I am going through mine but after both threads, feel inadequate :) Looks like you managed to get quite close to the fence? First year for me and thought it was amazing!
