Sharpless 101 (Sh2-101) is a H II region emission nebula located in the constellation Cygnus. It is sometimes also called the Tulip Nebula because it appears to resemble the outline of a tulip when imaged photographically. It lies at a distance of about 6,000 light-years from Earth.

This is a combination of 37 hours worth of total exposure time, each exposure using three different filters is 30 minutes long.

I keep seeing your images and they are truly mind blowing. To be able to get that detail without being up in space (or owning the Hubble telescope) is incredible. Thanks for sharing.

That's amazing. I've just bought a tracking mount and scope and hope one day I can produce anything even close to this.
