Must go back there as it is now restored to it's former glory!

Kodachrome, OM1, 1987. The road I live in (actually, I live in a house that's alongside the road, but that's another story. Well, more than one story actually, as it's not a bungalow, but I digress) Goldstone Crescent in Hove. This was taken just after the Great Gale when a lot of trees were blown down in the park and elsewhere; this shows the scene just after the tidy up started, when the trees had had their tops removed (they reached the pavement on the far side of the road) and the road was just about open again.

I really wish i could have got a better angle on this, but as it's on someones property i had to sneak a shot out of the van window. Also had to convert it to black and white as the drum on the left is blue and totally distracted from the car.

Two very good and appropriate photographs, well done Carl and to Nick as well for a good vote count.
