How do people go about swapping in the trading section. Do you just trust them to post the item?

I would like to think that our long time members are honest.
I did do a trade a few years ago we exchanged details and phone numbers and agreed that if neither of us was happy we could return the items to each other :)
The Trade went through smoothly with out a hitch (y)

I wouldn't mind a temporary swap of my 27mm with a 18mm

I've bought and sold a few times through here, thankfully no issues to date. Though if you look in the disputed trades section you'll see it can go wrong. I guess only real safe bet is to only trade with longer term members who already have good records in classified.

Looking to get myself some filters for my X-T1 and the 18x135. Should I be looking at the 100 or the Sev5n options?

I was thinking I may well go with the XF16 or even the XF14 at some point. If so would the 100 be a better choice then?

No, you only have problems with the Se7en5 if you use it on the 10-24 at wider than 12mm, and then not much. The 16 or 14 prime lenses are no problem.

Nice, I was after one of those lenses until I found out how much the holiday this year was going to be:)

Blea Tarn on a rather dull day.

That's very nice Sir, nice sky, some really good reflections, and well composed with a good base provided by the rocks in the foreground.(y)

George.

Doesn't look dull in your shot :). My only quibble would be (and I think this about an awful lot of landscape shots) that I wouldn't have made the near horizon quite so sharp - even though the loss of saturation in the next layer back gives a lovely sense of depth anyway. But that may just be because I'm a little short-sighted when I'm not wearing driving glasses, so "natural" to me isn't quite the same as for those with 20-20 vision...

Any chance we can add x-t20 to the thread title? If the rumoured specs released are true then it's basically going to be an £899 XT2 with touchscreen in place of weather sealing which is perfect for my needs and saves me a few quid! (Assuming it's does indeed have 4k). The perfect replacement for my XT1 given I shoot with the xpro2 mostly and was considering the g7 in the classifieds to get a cheap 4k body for video I do that wouldnt break the bank.

Proper announcement tomorrow alongside a 50f2 and the x100f (which is basically an XPro2 with a soft 23f2 attached from what info has been scraped together by the net already).

That'll mean small and compact lenses at f2 consisting of the 18, 23, 35 and 50. That's a pretty cool arrangement and has me thinking about moving my f1.4s and f1.2 out as I never use faster than about f2.4/2.8 so I don't end up with soft images... some serious thinking to be considered but very excited about that x-t20 that's for sure!

That's good in theory, but I would be surprised if for instance the 23f1.4 isn't sharper than the 23f2 at f2.8.

Swapped items a couple of times on here, all very straightforward and went fine. Both parties posted the same day with tracking numbers exchanged, feedback stats should give a good indication of trust level.

Wonder when Fuji will release the Fujinon 80mm f2.8 OIS WR Macro (1:1) :)
What other lenses are people after?

200mm f2.8? 300mm f2.8? :D

:ty: for looking.,(y):fuji:

George.
Superb detail George it's a cracking lens and the Fuji is certainly getting the best out of it (y)

I have a Tamron adaptall mount to Fuji X fits on my old Tamron SP 300mm f2.8 or my SP 200-500mm along with 1.4x and 2x converters I'm just waiting for a bit better weather to try them out :)

Yea there is that small detail I guess..

The photography show is coming in a couple of months so I'll be attending that and can have a look then. The current glass is a little heavy for the rangefinder and I have zooms for the XT. My biggest concern is the 23f1.4 as that is my all time favourite lens and gets used he most followed by the 18 and then the 35. The rest just tend to gather dust!

Either way the xt20 could solve my 4k requirement without breaking the bank if it covers it and has the same af and sensor.

The new glass could lighten by bag a little but that's the shooting in the dark purchases as they give the overall IQ.

Who knows! I've played with the 60mm enough now. For the use it gets in better off with tubes. A 1:1 would be a bonus though rather than the half size image we currently have.
The 80mm f2.8 will be compatible with the Tele-converters ... :D
I think Fuji should make a 200mm f2.8 prime next which is also compatible with the TC's :)

Well if they did and it was compatible with the 1.4x convertor you would have an f4 420mm full frame equivalent lens and if you look at canon 400mm f4L that's some serious cash right there! It would make for a lovely nature lens for the Fuji system.

well the new x-20 and (100f) are out, what's everyone thoughts? i think the touchscreen and just the normal tilting screen make sense on the x-20. make for a great quick street shooting camera.
i look forward to reviews- it looks so far to me like Fuji have done it again
