Lol your shocked I best not go upstairs my bedroom isn't a spare room now it's just chockablock full with gear I seriously need some help.
Although I am hoping to get the XF 2x converter at some stage this year.
I just need my mate to commit to buying my 800mm f5.6 prime for his D810 ! :)
The sad thing is I've been pretty much house bound since the end of November and I'm struggling to think of something to photograph !
Maybe I should make a start on recording my GAS collection?
 
I'm happy. GAS doesn't exist for me :)

Sold the Fuji stuff on that I tried out. Still Canon FD to sell on.

Content with A7, FE35/2.8, Batis 85 & Voigtlander 40/1.4 :)

I'm just waiting on a Batis 35mm.... ;)

It covers pretty much every eventuality. I used to have a 50-500 but it got used so infrequently that I couldn't justify keeping it, so off it went to MPB. I'll probably rent something if I need anything longer which is unlikely as I've no interest in wildlife or birds.

My most used camera this year is my Fuji X A2 with XC 16-50mm f3.5 kit lens mad I know I have just taken to it for some reason ? followed by X T1 or X T10 body.
My D 810 is usually packed in another bag with AFD 16mm f2.8, AFS 16-35mm VR and AFS 28-300mm VR & a SB 400.

Ha, my wife would beg to differ! I forgot to mention my Nikon F100 and F6 which don't get as much use as they should as they are probably the nicest handling cameras I own. The F6 is lush.

TBH though I've more interest in photography than in cameras. They're just a tool, a means to an end in my mind. That said, I have a strange emotional attachment to my D700 which I intended selling but can't yet bring myself to do......

Yes I have a F100 it's was a great bit of kit in its day and still is :) I have never owned or used F6 though :( but have most the other top of the range F pro bodies.
Sorry I agree about the D700 and I will probably be in the next life before I part with it :naughty:

i did it slightly differently. i sold my D800 for top money & threw in the 50mm f/1.4 i never liked either & i only had to add £150 to buy a D810 from Panamoz ;)

plus i think i'm cured now, there was someting else on my want list for ages & i bought that 2 weeks ago so apart from the odd impulse purchase like Billingham number 4 last week i should be ok :whistle:

Cool you won't be disappointed with the D810 its simply sublime with good glass. :)
 
i hope so. there was just something i didn't like about the D800. possible early disppointment due to sloppy technique, the D3 i was also using used to love casual one handed shots. The D800 not so much :rolleyes:
after the firmware update & a few months unused in the bag i was a lot more mindful of settings etc & the keeper rate went right up. still never bonded with it though, it's the only DSLR i've ever sold:tumbleweed:

plus there was never anywhere for your thumb, at least the D810 has addressed that :banana:

Oh and a pair of OMD-EM bodies EM1 & EM5mkII and a few lenses of course.:)

There is not, in materialistic terms, anything more exciting than getting a new toy.
I'm about to pull the trigger on a £2600 lens that I don't need but I feel the same way as a child does on Christmas Eve.

I agree, I think is the Fuji lighter? Then the reality hits I’ve worked my way up to the D750 because it had what I wanted when I bought it. GAS or GAD is mad
