What birds or bird have you seen today – communal thread, I hope!

And a Sparrowhawk, that I was fortunate to spot at dusk from a hide window. I manage to grab this ISO 5000 shot before it spotted me.

Was going to do the same yesterday after dropping daughter at the airport, then remembered the camera was still at home...
Oh dear :)
Not that I'm much better. I put the camera in the car, and realised when I got there that there was no memory card in the camera, so I had to use the one from my dashcam. :)
 
A few from today..

More of a record shot than anything else, but first time I've managed a shot of a Kestrel hovering...

Also spotted my first Goldcrest last week, and whilst I did have my camera with me I only had my Canon 24-105mm f4 L with me and did take a shott, it was 8-9ft away with a fence in the way...

I connected with my 2nd flock of Waxwings (this winter) down here in Kent, back on the 17/1/17...still cant manage to capture any "clean" images yet...but who knows, i might get lucky soon enough??
