Nikon D750 & D780

Undo the top button!? Cheeky...

Yup one flash in an octobox quite close to (just out of frame) shot with the 85mm.

Actually, on some I had a flash behind pointing up for a bit of rim lighting but not sure if it was there in this photo.

Maybe it's cos I WiFi them to my tablet then to flickr.
My tablet is crap for photos.

Good stuff, although I echo the comments above they do look pretty soft. Focus of the meerkat is on the nose not the eyes which could account for some of that ;)

Like I said, I blame the tablet :)

I think trouble with camera Screen they shows them as Jpeg?? so they prob had some sharpening done to them in camera?

That could be the trouble, as it was I thought I checked all the settings and on the second tour I got "full" on the top screen, forgot to check the "raw / mpg" settings, filled up about 50gb of card in no time with raw files :banghead::banghead::banghead:

That's circa 1000 shots, were you machine gunning? ;)

Went out with my 10 stop Firecrest Filter for the first time today and I got an artefact where there's a spot that's brighter than the rest. Checked the filter when I got home and if I hold it up to the light sure enough I can see a tiny pin hole flaw in the tint/coating when the light's at a certain angle. Trouble is I bought it back in early Jan so no chance of a return. Have contacted format and now awaiting their reply but I fear that's £99 down the toilet :(

Should of bough Lee.

Not really, I have it set to slow fire (1st setting) on dial. I already had several hundred shots on the card, not all raw either.

But you said you filled 50gb of card, not that you finished off the remainder of a 50gb card (can you even get a 50gb card? ;)) :p

But I was only pulling your leg. I take 1500-2000 when I'm shooting the London Marathon.

Why, Firecrest are right up there and the 10 stopper actually has less colour cast than the Lee. I've just been unlucky.

I have 2 32 Gb's in [emoji13]
Oh and I had 2 camera's to hand.

Well I prefer Lee and I be moving over to nisi soon

This is why I sold my Fuji gear, I couldn't cope with the rendering of landscapes, particularly rocks and foliage. Apparently it was worse than this years ago too before adobe changed their algorithms. I tried about 8 different different pieces of software trying to find one that could process Fuji well, and still wasn't happy.

Crop of some rocks with a bloke sat on them (excuse the softness, these are from photobucket and they always look soft when hosted from there)

This is how I expect rocks to render

Is that Minnnt sitting on the rock, he seems to get everywhere these days :)

Currently selling up my Nikon kit to move to Fujifilm... didn't do enough 'paid' work to justify the expense which was tied up in it... and have to say the D750 is going to be tough act to follow...

Oooooooooh!! Risky

How quick was delivery? This could be the decider between keeping or selling the D700

D750 I think was 4 days but honestly can't remember what day I ordered and if it was over a weekend. I didn't think it any slower than ordering from anywhere else online tbh.

Digitalrev messed up my lens order and I had to give them a nudge to send it

Spent five minutes testing my new toys (hannel captur module things), to make sure they work. Think I`m gonna have some fun with this :) Didn`t bother too much with settings for HHS either.

Rough n ready test shot by Paulie-W, on Flickr

Why can't you return it then. Is there different rules for stoppers
Had it for about 6 weeks or just over so well past the returns time.
Well I prefer Lee and I be moving over to nisi soon
Lee are arguably the best overall, although the 10 stopper does have more colour cast than others apparently. Why would you change to nisi when you already have Lee?
