I hope this is the right place to post this but as my 'best of 2016' blog went down quite well, I thought I'd share the latest post. http://www.justinminns.co.uk/blog/2017/1/under-pressure

Lack of time meant I neglected my blog last year so for the new year I'm trying to put in the effort... lets see how long it lasts!

I read that, was a good and interesting read, must admit I've quite enjoyed seeing on twitter all the togs going into panic station mode as the snow arrived! Totally agree with all of it, you feel pressured to make the most of the limited time you have with these wintry conditions

Justin. I follow your blog and have to say an excellent post ..... and accompanying image. Given you are not full time your time mangemnt skills seem pretty good to me

Another interesting blog Justin.
I hear you when you talk about the pressures as we seem to be having another poor winter, so its a case of exploiting those few moments with a plan and hope it all falls in place. I took Friday off work and went to one of my favourite places in Suffolk to get a photo I have wanted for a long time. And I got it so my plan worked out well. Hopefully your is too. And while I'm on the subject, are you writing a book for locations for Fotovue? More pressure

Thanks Stuart... indeed, the whole country went mad for a few mm of snow

Thanks... it never feels like it but I guess we always think we could do better!

Thanks Paul, Unfortunately my plan didn't go er quite according to plan... there was barely a dusting of snow! So I spent much of the weekend writing up locations to try and ease some of that particular source of pressure ;)

I know just what you mean.

I was at work on Saturday with my Facebook feed filling up with glorious pictures from the lakes :-(

Just been looking at your blog and pictures, very inspiring.

Will check back regularly.

Tony

I find the best way to not feel the pressure about snowy weather is to book a winter sun holiday 6 months in advance, and discover once you've flown out you've missed the brief snow period at home!

Can't feel pressured about something you have no chance of shooting!

(Posting from said holiday airport....)

Good plan... anywhere nice?

Been to Cape Verde for a week (Sal island) with 27-28deg C temps! Been lovely for the sun, not so great to miss snow!
Blimey what a small world... Didn't know anyone who has been before and your there and a friend of mine was there last week.

What's snow? Haven't had any for 4 years, and I was unable to walk then. I don't think I'll ever get a chance to photograph in the snow :D

I'm going the other way.... Northern Norway.... up where @MattyW is hiding.

Excellent blog BTW Justin, and that must be a dream working for the National Trust, and i bet you don't get kicked out of the grounds at dusk!
