Sadly, my old boy died at the end of May. These two arrived a couple of weeks ago to help fill the gap

Another of Maisie. 11 1/2 years young and still behaves like a kitten (when she forgets her aches and pains.) Dreading the inevitable but she'll last a good few years yet and will probably not be replaced. We only have her because we'd much rather we took her over from Mum and Dad when they died than she went through the CPL again (that's where Mum and Dad got her 10 1/2 years ago.)

Let sleeping cat lie.

My last two (the two that weren't flattened by cars) lived till just short of 18, so Maisie may have to put up with you for some time yet.......... (she looks a cutie, btw)

She is! We reckon she's used up at least a couple of her lives - when Mum and Dad chose her (well, she chose them by scrambling up onto Mum's shoulder and purring loudly into her ear!), she had just had a back leg pinned after being left at the CPL's door with a nasty break and then, after Dad downsized after Mum died, she crawled back through the cat flap trailing the other leg after (probably) being hit by a car. Other than that, she's been no trouble other than an early alarm clock... Love her dearly and wouldn't be without her!

My much loved but biatch of a cat Elsie went missing tail end of last week. Worst bit is we had just started to win her trust after 5 years and were able to comb her (whilst distracted by food) and she goes missing, fingers crossed she might come back although I am not at all hopeful. Shame as she was a real beauty albeit a handful and not at all true to type (Maine Coon). Shots of her earlier in the thread. Almost a year to the day our adopted black moggy nearly got killed, not been a good year.

Another snap of Maisie, using the X-30 Fuji through the conservatory window and resized in camera.

A bit of a sun worshipper!

Might as well make sure that my first posted photos here are of my long-suffering cat!

Not my best photo ever of her by a long shot, but it's probably the one which probably captures her character most of any of them. :D

She's normally a lot more adorable, and does well guarding my newly-arrived boxes of random camera equipment.

Mika, with very odd eyes, one was amber, one was blue and one didn't reflect red light.

This one put me in hospital in May 2015.

Sadly now passed.
