Just returned from my annual Scottish tour. Though we didn't have snow during our visit this time, we were blessed with some gorgeous winter sun. So everyone got to play with different techniques.
I always try to come back with something different each time I go, especially with subjects that are regularly photographed. Sometimes we get lucky, sometimes not. For me, trying is more important than guaranteed success.
All images made with D500 and the 200-500mm f5.6 lens, no crops. I'll be generating a trip gallery on my main site (hopefully) within the next few days if you want to see more.
1) Mountain Hare
2) Crested Tit
3) Red Squirrel
