Nikon D750 & D780

I've used one on my d7100 and it was very very sharp. Not that light thou

500g, about same as 24-85. Just want something small that can be used when small zoom needed!

Anyone using/used a Tamron 28-75 on the D750? Think I want to get a cheapish light zoom to chuck in the bag. It's either this or the 24-85.
Yes I use it on my one. Bought off here but was not happy with the focus. Sent it to Tamron and it came back looking new.

Not as happy with it as I am with the Tamron 17-50 on my D90.

Might just be a user error thing....

@sep9001 has one as does (or did?) @Sir SR afaik @JJ!
Yes David, still have it and the last few portraits I have used it.

You have a very good memory, must be all the fresh air you take in for all those early morning photo trips.[emoji3]

Looking at longer lenses now to top off my lens collection, does any one have experience of the following
Sigma 50-500mm f4.5-6.3, this is just over £500 used from a top used photo gear specialist shop.
Also looking at this
Nikon AF 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED VR Lens
Or maybe wait a bit longer and look at the new Sigma 150-600 contemporary, hope to be a bit 'richer' by then!!!

I've got the Siggy 150-600 C - not yet used it on my D750 but was very impressed with it on my old D7200. Worth getting the dock too so you can tune it and do firmware updates. Also gives the ability to adjust the OS which is best set to dynamic.

We talking about the Tamron? You find it performs well on the D750?

Saw the new Tammy 150-600mm today but was in a locked cabinet and was with my wife so didn't bother asking to have a proper look. I know you can't tell much just like this but does look more up to date, and looks better built but I'd obviously need hands on to be able to tell for sure.

I'm running with a Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD
Liking it a lot, VC is great which you don't get on the 28-75 which is a "macro" lens

Nah just want something small to chuck in the bag. The 28-75 isn't really a macro lens as such, think they just added it to the extremely long title as it focuses close.

Used to use one ages ago but not on FX.

What sort of price?

Just under £1500, but was in selfridges and everything was overpriced. Nikon D750 was £1799 and D500 £1999  Nice Hasselblad for £25999 ;)

Two hassailblad bodies, and a XCD3.5 30mm on one, XCD3.290mm on the other, so I don't mark the lens mounts swapping lenses, I make that about £80,000 in round numbers

No pix on this page yet, so here`s a biscuit for you :D

Peeing down with rain here. So got my lightest lens out for some flash work haha

She is absolutely massive now mate!

Taking my new toy out for its first outing shortly in Wakefield city centre, added a 50mm and I'll be only shooting at f1.4 to get a feel for what that gives me :)

Thankfully, there's at least 2 GREGGS there too, so lunch is sorted :D

Dave

Does it even have other apertures? :D
