Nikon DF

Quiet in here, is @minnt the only one with a Df round these parts? :)

Another one of your epic day trips???

Haha, yeah, it was a bit of an ask this time around. The forecast looked seriously promising, but it didn't quite all come together.

8 hours to get there so I set off at 8.30pm on Tuesday, arrived at 4.30am Wednesday, shot until about 2pm when the cloud rolled in so came home early. Walked through the door at 10.10pm  42 hours without sleep, but who needs that anyway?

I admire your insanity!!! :D

I know you shoot mainly film now @gazmorton2000, but wondering your thoughts on your wedding work with the Df's. I guess you like them?

Yeah. They work well for me. I've shot in low light with few problems. This will be my last year using the Dfs to fulfill existing bookings then they will be for sale around September.
Not replacing them with anything digital.

Not that we'd know it
.

Hahaha! Ok I might help your thread out and post something later.

Just sold my X100T, so things may just get real in here and @minnt will have a friend to talk to :D:D

That is a very good point. I've managed weddings on single batteries (one each camera) and only occasionally changed the one in the body that I use most (35mm). Battery life is VERY good.
