Making the most of Adobe Creative Cloud

I've been paying for Adobe CC since it came out, I use the photography version so just Lightroom & Photoshop.

Now I use both programs independently apart from sometimes I'll export to Photoshop then back for additional editing. However, I feel I'm perhaps not using the cloud aspect of it as well as I could. I'm using a Windows 10 desktop, Macbook Pro & Lightroom Mobile on Android. Anybody got any tips etc as to how to use it best? Do I store stuff in the cloud, if so how, how should I set it up so I'm not just using it independently on each device?

Like both of the posters I am in the same position in that I have the cloud storage but don't use it.
I have just been having a play, I have uploaded some photos to the cloud from my PC and have installed the app on my android phone, so thoughts so far.

The upload time is slow , I am using a 200mb virgin line (12 mb upload speed) and it takes considerably longer to sync than it does to upload to Zenfolio
Once uploaded however the files are instantly available on an Android phone ( Moto 4G) using WiFi-I have not yet tried 4G only.
I have not yet tried to make the files available off-line but I suspect in my case it will not be too bad over WiFi as the phone is fairly quick ( download about 45-60 mb).
I suspect that if you were wanting to show a client the files and make edits at the same time then the ability to sync edited files between laptop and desktop is very useful.
If you don't want to do that then you have 20gb of free storage and you can sync files between devices but you still have to download them for off line viewing.
Personally I will stick to copying photos I want to show on a phone/tablet to an SD card, its quicker and cheaper.

Adobe CC is a very attractive package for post editing etc. Leaving that on one side, for back-ups I would never trust my files to any cloud app, as you have absolutely no control over those to whom you have entrusted your files and therefore what may happen to your image files in the future. If you want security, don't look to others, set up your own system of back-ups etc. Many will turn out to be fly-by-night organisations who will offer you the familiar Roman salute as they depart the scene with no obligations to the security of your archive.

:agree:

Interesting individuals don't seem to benefit from it, I'm wondering if it's more effective for graphic design teams etc rather than photographers.

Does anyone use the Behance & My Portfolio aspect of CC? I'm just starting to explore it!

Just looking into the portfolio section myself... It looks decent but I also have my own hosting with a free theme via WordPress... Not the best looking site as it's still in progress mind you but still... Portfolio looks easy setup... As for the Cloud for photographers the only handy thing I find is the lightroom for mobile... Sync to Adobe then do light edits when I'm away from home... A few here and there... Cuts down time I'm spending at the computer.

The only real cloud-hosting part I benefit from is for quick reviews and edits...

e.g. I'll upload a large number of shots into the "to be sorted" folder which is set to sync with the cloud. I can then flick through them either on my phone, home PC or work PC (Surface) make very quick rejects & accepts, add tags etc before doing any proper PP on my PC.

It was particularly useful when I used to travel a lot with work as it was a good way to catch up on the processing backlog whilst away from my PC.

Recently as well I've used LR Mobile for edits for less "serious" shots - 5 of the last 6 shots on my Flickr where done or LR Mobile and I find it really useful for getting out "snaps" for social media or family.
