Nikon D750 & D780

Sywell aerodrome they are more or less based there all the time.

I missed the dogfight they had by about 5 mins was gutted. They do pleasure flights cheap as cheaps not

The 400 f2.8 is a stunner, and a stunning price too

The 150-600's aren't the fastest focussing lenses tbh and can struggle gaining acquisition of BIF.

Is that true of all the 150-600 or are some designs better?

Certainly the Tamron gen 1 and Sigma C. Don't get me wrong, they're not bad but you can't expect 70-200mm f2.8 type AF ;)

I know someone apart from snerkler who has the tamron and has no trouble on his canon 7d.
I was talking relative to other lenses. Long teles aren't the fastest focussing, and the 150-600's aren't the fastest focussing of the long teles :p

The sigma C seems fast if you change the settings with the dock. Not tried on bif yet though
Changed mine on the dock. Have it set for speed in custom 2 and the more accurate on custom 1 but I wouldn't say there is any major noticeable difference. Bif I just rely on rapid fire and hope for the best sometimes [emoji3]

Sorry I'm being thick ... BIF?

Bird in flight.
Thanks. I was trying to work out some more camera related setting / mode for the acronym. Started out at BIM - Built in Motor; and was trying to work something from there ... hence my complete blank look reading BIF!
