For some reason, the image doesn't seem straight
and there is some ghosting artefact over the silos!
 
It's straight, but i have no idea about the ghosting either as there's no pp! Heat or moisture?


Got no idea… never experienced that before!
 
Nice composition - especially with the lady crossing the road. I also like how her jacket matches the stop sign, both contrasting well against the blue. However, it seems a little underexposed.

It also needs a smidge of straightening too looking at the verticals?!

Burton upon trent, by any chance?
 
Thanks guys. It is indeed burton on Trent. The underexposure is intentional as it's a style I've come to use and love over the years. Not for everyone tho. If the link still works, you can see what I mean from my Flickr stream. The shot above is part of a set on burton which should be in the link.
No HDR or increase in dr used.
Used to use hdr years ago but soon stopped after the haloing effect used to drive me nuts. Layer blending is more accurate for me, but haven't used that in years either!
