1st Prize Lumix GH5M . wroth £1700
2nd Prize Lumix GX8 worth £700
3rd Prize Lumix GX80 worth £550 plus 7 x Runners Up prizes of Lumix 20% off vouchers

Open to amateur photographers only - entry £1.50 per image. Go to : http://www.beaconcameraclub.co.uk/streetcomp.htm for rules and to enter.

Open for entries on 1st Feb, closing date 1 June 2017

Winners announced by Martin Parr after his talk, 7.30pm at the Swan Theatre, Worcester on Sat 1 July 2017

Thanks for posting this. It's really encouraging to see recognition for street photography increasing in camera clubs.

If you don't mind, I'll post this on our Facebook page and also alert the 800+ members in our 'virtual' street photographers' club.

He's missed of the 'cc' after beacon so should be beaconcc.co.uk/

Well, I have fixed this on the original thread I posted in the general forum but now can't seem to make it work. Will keep trying.

So, I have been back and copy the version of the advert that I typed out that works... this was amended yesterday and worked just now when I tried it. And again when I went back now just to double check... fingers crossed.

Entries have started to come in for this competition... Just a wee bump in case you missed it before.
 
So, our chairman was saying we have had entries from as far afield as China and Australia.... check the link in the pasted quote at the start of this thread if you are interested.

So there are still tickets available for the talk at the Swan theatre on Saturday 1st July. Hope to see some of you there.
