I have £600 max budget for a dedicated photo editing monitor, can any one point me in the right direction on make and model

To get the ball rolling :) I haven't been looking at the very latest releases - but Dell Ultrasharp IPS monitors are good for out of the box calibration and colour reproduction.

I am very happy with my Dell u3415W for both photo editing and gaming - it's a 34inch ultra wide monitor.

You could get it for less than £600 used.

I think maybe the u3417W is the latest release of this monitor, but over £600

If you are on Mac. a 24" or 27" cinema display is
the tool of my choice everywhere in my production,

in the PP room as well as in studio.

I'd be interested in this also but likely looking at a 24" or 27" monitor max.

Will check out the Dell offerings but I seem to remember there being more than a few variants last time I checked. Pretty confusing!

Cheers for that. Like the look of the Ultrasharp 2515H!
I bought one recently, very pleased with it.check out the prices on the dell web site they are usually pretty good

I to have a Dell u2312HM IPS monitor and no problems as of yet

The Benq sw2700pt was the monitor I was looking at, but there seems to be a lot of bad reviews

I saw a few bad reviews too, especially a lot of comments about uniformity and inconsistent quality. I also read that the panel has been tweaked and is much better in newer 2017 models. I took a punt and am very pleased I did so far.
