As title says, where is the best or nicest location for this idyllic place, it`ll not be until at least 24th-25th June, thats when it should be at its best.
What i`m looking for is fields of lavender with buildings in the BG.
Any recommendations people please ?

Can't help you with a location in the Provence but
here, in Kitzek Austria, they started cultivating this
plant quite intensively and extensively since some
10 years.

Three years ago, a producer commissioned me to
produce a
prospectus illustrating the culture on his
sites, the work in the fields, the harvest and the way
it will be prepared for export… since their is no long
standing traditions with lavender in this country.

I had a bad nightmare when shooting lavender in full
bloom. Three colours: blue, green, and purple. The
light meter was playing crazy and the WB had drink
too much I think.

… but, soon enough, I had things right.

Plateau de Valensole is the one you're after. I'll be there myself from Wednesday next week.

Afternoon that it's the area around Apt and Sault.
Bugger, I was there Sunday just gone but I didnt have a clue where I was to go, i`m not going again as its 2h30 drive for me, as it was I done nearly 400 klm Sunday.
PS, the colours are really coming out now with the Lavender.
I`ll wait until next year for this one now.
Thanks for the info though Julian. Are we related ? my Name is also Elliott :)
