Maybe you'll pay for it
Sure. You buy it and I'll pay you back once it's delivered.

What other lenses have you got Dave, and what do you tend to shoot?
Not used the lens for anything particularly fast or tricky but AF seems as snappy as any other prime I've used.Well worth looking at Tim. I had one coupled with a 5D2 so was used to crap AF anyway. Some say AF can be hit or miss but never experienced that myself. I found it to be very sharp with decent rendition. I swapped it for an 85 1.2L which didn't over inspire me, so good was the siggy.

Really nice Phil.
Lovely
What's up with the plastic bit coming off of the 58?
Bit of a bad design - if gets dented really easily. I think they just did not make the recess deep anough so everytime you put the cap on and off it hits it! Plus its such a thin weak bit of plastic too.
Nicely done. Looks like a damselfly to me, although I wrongly mistook some of mine for a damselfly as there's something else that looks almost identical but I can't remember what it was now. Not a dragonfly though
I think you're right ... it's a long blue flitty flying thing to me!Nicely done. Looks like a damselfly to me, although I wrongly mistook some of mine for a damselfly as there's something else that looks almost identical but I can't remember what it was now. Not a dragonfly though
Just refreshed my memory. It is a damselfly but there are two that are almost identical, the common blue and azure. This one is the common blue I believe as there's no spur on the side.I think you're right ... it's a long blue flitty flying thing to me!
There's no need to be personal ... there were quite a lot of them but they did fly in a quite refined way. It's a common blue damselfly.
They don't look over processed to me, but maybe not consistently processed across the whole images? I think in the colour shots the foreground seems more to have mor contrast than the background.
Great idea with the b&w shot but looks like you missed the focus point, if it was on the kids face it would have been perfect...IMHO [emoji3]
The common blue appears to be much hairier too. It's a common blue damselfly.

Any help guys.
My D750 arrived from Panamoz a week or so ago. Finally having a play after having the house upside down with building work.
There is one dead pixel on the LCD, it's tiny and only noticeable on certain menu screens which done have an option at the bottom.
Not sure what to do next really, what would you do?
It's almost impossible to photo on my phone, but have tried anyhow.

It obviously bugs you enough to post about it so I doubt you'll live with it. Return for a replacement. IMHO

It's not bothering me massively but it's there all the same.
It's just not greatly timed with upcoming weddings, is another option to send it to Nikon in a quieter time of the year and have it fixed?
Just return it for a refund from the retailer, and order a new one in parallel.
Also, assuming it's a grey import if from Panamoz(?), so I assume you wouldn't be eligible for a UK manufacturer repair? I might be wrong here, so forgive me...
