Nikon D750 & D780

I like it but for me its a bit too up close and personal plus you can tell how much make-up she has on.
Sorry if its a bit too critical but thats how I see it.
No need for apologies, I thought some people would find it a bit too in your (or her I guess) face.

Here's one from 10th June. Really like these dragonflies, most are friendly and allow you to get closer to them. This is not the closest I have got.

went to photo shooting menu
scroll down to HDR but it is grayed out so cannot select

Are you shooting in RAW as it doesn't work with RAW, it needs to be in JPEG. Have a look at p.177 of the manual for more details.

My b/w experiment from a wedding last year.

I know the fashion is for shallow dof these days, but when it comes to dogs I like to see their noses in focus as well as their eyes. Sorry folks. :(

Man this camera is awesome! Whilst about to have lunch just noted the light in the dining room sparkling in Rosie's eyes, so quickly ran to grab a camera. I usually have set up in U1 which is aperture, auto ISO, so can quickly grab and shoot, but earlier I was messing around with a Brenizer so was in manual, ooops. Typically after a few frames I clocked it but missed a really cheeky grin that I was miffed about - pretty much looked a black frame. So here it is, 5 stops of pull back (ooh er) later..

Dynamic range was helped with this being base ISO but the quality is just about useable for web. It's about as good as the old 50D I had in good lighting, ha!

Just to compare with a properly exposed image, sure you can see the difference, but 5 stops!

I've had that happen to me a couple of times. You're right; black frame - put it into ACR and watch the magic happen. Unbelievable!

So the 6D MkII is coming... I'm not a Nikon fan boy, but it really doesnt look to be an improvement on the D750?

Its 5 years since the original 6D and I don't think they have nailed it. 1 card slot too... WTF!

Saw this earlier. Looks like a take on the D750 really, given the flippy screen and resolution. There's a lot of cross type AF points and so I wonder how good the AF is. Still, bet the DR isn't as good and even if it were, £2k on launch! Justify's my move to Nikon every time. That premium just isn't warranted. Also backs up the theory that technology seems to have plateaued for a good while, hence the slow down of upgrades. Suits me, I've spoilt myself enough this year.

I think overall spec isn't as good as the D750, other than the extra cross type AF. Oh and live view will be better than Nikon's crappy version. The single card slot would be a deal breaker for me.

Pretty poor that they release a camera that (on first appearance at least) isn't as good as 2.5 year old competition.
