YN622N TX - could this trigger a flash on a YN~CTR 301p?

I have a YN622N trigger/receiver set that works perfectly and have now picked up some older flashes and Yongnuo CTR301P trigger and receivers. The flashes work fine with the 622 set but the batteries are flat in the CTR301. I suspect the answer is no, but would the 622 also trigger a flash on the CTR301? It only needs to be fill in light and manual would be fine.

Grateful for your advice.
 
Yeah. Or rather no. It might have worked, but doesn't. I guess I'm not that surprised either. Hope springs eternal.

If any other optimist asks, the answer is no.
 
The ctr301p is a bit of a niche product, I'm not surprised no one has used them.

Anyway you appear to have found they're a bit pointless, I'd recommend further 622 receivers, but you've probably worked that out.

Will keep an eye out for more 622s and go with them. I'm in no particular rush but if priority increases I see they are still on Amazon.

They're often for sale in the classifieds.
