This is my next customer project, customer is local and wanted a nice sunrise shot of the loch and palace, alarm went off at 5am for this trip, nice little place and very easy to get to and access as there is a car park right next to it. Broke another leg off my tripod and slit my finger in the process with blood all over the kit and filters but not a wasted journey as I came away with these two shots. Will go back for sunrise a few more times before settling on a final image! Hope you like, crit and comments always welcome!!

Very appealing graphic compositions and renditions! (y)(y)

Love the second image...very peaceful.

Very much like photo 2, but for my taste the dense shadow to the right in number 1 overwhelms the delicate light elsewhere in the image, and spoils the balance of the image.

Haha yes I am indeed [emoji106]

Two very nice shots Sir, liking both of these very much with #2 being my preferred image.(y)

George.

I like #1 it's better framed for me and sits well on the eye ... #2 has 'bits' that I would be cloning out ... straggly bit of twig coming in bottom right, bit of 'fern' bottom left and the branch coming up out of the water above the 'fern'. All personal view of course. :)

Totally agree with you on the cloning out of a few things, going back soon so will try and compose my shot a bit better!

Thanks for all the comments folks [emoji106]
