Plymouth This Morning

Love the poppies. I really want to get down there and see/photograph them, but I've have several weeks nobbled and unable to drive that far. Now I'm fit and able again, I'm really busy and running out of time. Your shot looks like it's taken in darkness and the memorial is lit, or is that just the processing? A late night/early morning visit would be my choice - would cut down the journey time too. Note to Diary..................

It's lit all night I believe with 24/7 security. I think it's going just after remembrance.

Where are those poppies!? I'm in london next weekend and wasn't going to take my camera, but I may have to if I can get to see these.

Sorry they are in Plymouth, not London. There are 2, I believe, travelling displays. This one called Wave and another. They get put up in towns for a few months at a time. This is the first time one has actually been incorporated with an existing war memorial though.

I like them!

Whereabouts is the Cruxifix in Plymouth?

I like the poppy shot but have say I find the poppies in the foreground a bit distracting. Just my opinion.
