24-27" Monitor options for MacBook

I use a Benq SW2700PT with a 15" MacBook Pro 2016. Works a treat. The 27" monitor gets good reviews and is a decent price.

This has just come to my attention. Have read some great stuff about it and Wex are currently selling it for £579 which is cheaper than Amazon. Have read some stuff about colour uniformity. Not sure how common this actually is. Looks an awesome screen though.

Didn't think to look at BenQ. We have them at work and they are so so quality, although granted, they are pretty cheap £100ish screens so it's not a fair comparison. The P2715Q by Dell looks a good option too for similar price.

I also spent a lot of time researching monitors and by sheer luck was able to pick up a brand new Benq SW2700 for £300. I cant complain at that price :)

I purchased an LG 27UD88-W (4K UHD) earlier this year to pair with my 2017 MacBook Pro.

Really pleased with it, looks decent and offers USB-C connectivity (e.g single cable from MacBook to monitor to power and send data.

That's really neat. The LG screens that Apple sell look really decent too, but seem to be better paired with the new MBP like you have with USB-C

I have had this screen for well over a year or so, maybe getting on for 2. Its fantastic, calibrates really well and I run mine off a 2011 MBP. Works a treat indeed.

Having weighed up the Dell, BenQ, Eizo, I went for the Eizo in the end. I love the 16:10 resolution and out of the box, the screen looks awesome, not to mention the quality of the actual monitor itself. They are quite a big name in graphic arts and photography which is what my intentions for it were, and the panel worked out cheaper than the BenQ in the end. Measuring my desk, a 27" would have been quite a tight fit too

Having been used to a 13" MBP, the Eizo feels great to work on :) Appreciate peoples input here.

Just need to calibrate it now.
