Nikon D750 & D780

I’m considering selling up as just don’t get time anymore, and it’s a shame for a load of decent gear not getting used.
I’d have D750,D610,D7000 and loads of decent DX and FX glass, etc.
Which is the best dealer as can’t be bothered with selling in bits!
Just want to box it up and be done with it.
Don’t really want to give it away though.

you will be really out of pocket if you sell to a dealer or trade in to a dealer they are sharks
best selling private try on here nothing to loose
but plenty to gain

I know,I’m not sure I can be bothered with the hassle of selling privately though!
I just keep looking at it all knowing I’ll probably never really use it again, when someone could.
Might sell the speed lights, bags, tripods etc on here though.

Last couple of times I tried selling on here I gave up. Got better offers from MPB than the TP tightwads. Less hassle too.

If here’s no good there’s a couple of good UK Nikon selling groups on Facebook if you’re on it. I’ve bought and sold there before quite successfully.

Well it appears Nikon have proper borked my camera. The on board flash also doesn't work. I think the command dial for the shooting options hasn't been reconnected properly. I'll try and contact them on monday after I have moved this weekend. Not happy tbh

That’s really not good. I’ve had mine back for a week or so but haven’t given it a really good work out - guess I need to to check it all works.

Hope you get it sorted.

That’s pretty unacceptable imo, I’d certainly be having strong words.

are you able to share the names so I know where to go looking? Its good to get recommendations as I'm definitely looking at other options/places.

TP used to be very good to buy and sell but its seems to be a lot harder recently, and things just don't seem to shift unless there is still transferable warranty left.

Certainly not so good for selling these days, from my experience. I blame grey imports for pushing s/h prices down!

Sorry to hear that!

thats not good at all. It doesn't help my feeling of if it isn't broke don't fix it. That doesn't install me with confidence sending mine away tomorrow.

Exactly my feelings. Was about to send mine soon...

I bet that's why the continuous shooting isn't working.

I was a little miffed yesterday too, the MacBook froze and wouldn’t power down for reboot. Tried everything following a google. Apple booked it into a localish agent same day. Typically got there and one of the reboot processes worked for him where it didn’t for me, FFS. At least it’s working grrr.

On the upside, think my GAS is moving more towards the Siggy (I know!) 135... £920 can’t be overlooked... spring present maybe...

I don’t know if anyone can help,

I’m looking for a full manual lens preferably a 24,28,35mm just for street photography that will work fine on the d750 below £100?

More of my half-arsed landscape stuff. Using the 24-85 for a change.

Ingleborough and The Great Stone of Fourstones. There's only one stone. Amazing what can be pulled out of a D750 file. The last shot was pretty much a silhouette.

Has anyone noticed the DR seems to be even higher when shooting at ISO50?

I mucked up this weekend, just a day out at the local seal colony with the family. And didn't notice when I started shooting I had the camera at ISO50. Only took a handful of shots before I noticed, so doesn't matter.

But out of interest I bumped the exposure in LR.

SOOC vs +5 exposure.

This is just cheating, right?

Seriously impressive. Isn't ISO 50 a 'fake' ISO, i.e. it's just ISO 100 which is then changed in software?

Yeah, which is why I was expecting to be able to push it less than an ISO100 file, turns out it's not the case

Here`s a shot from the weekend when I was in the lower Alps
Better to have a look over at flickr and see the other shots.

Gotta love an ISOless sensor haven’t you :)

Some cracking pics recently, haven't been on much as been too busy. Still keen to carry on shooting the little one on a day to day basis.

That's because I've not posted any ;)

Nice pics, I prefer the colour.
