B&W Let's see your Black and White photos

Help please, again.
I can't work out how to manually focus the XT2. Neither lens will focus on manual, even when I turn the switch to M. Bloody nuisance because ti wouldn't focus on the moon at all and I wanted to tune the focus in on the big full moon.
Any ideas please? Yes, I have read thre manual, several times for that chapter, all about turn focus mode selector to M then turn the focus ring. It doesn't work on either lens though.

Addendum...
I have also noticed that autofocus on a subject - if you zoom the focus is lost. It doesn't matter if you zoom to tele, ocus, then zoom out to wide, or the other way round. The focus doesn't hold if you change focal lengths. Again, this is with both lenses. I have a feeling it is all buggered.

you don't need to switch to manual

just ensure A+M is enabled and you can adjust focus after af

Quite pleased with this snap as it made "Flickr Explore".:)
Just a simple Snapograph taken at Brighton Sussex UK of an Ornate Lamp Post that I found attractive.
I juggled about with this snap in PP to try and make a high contrast mono presentation.
