D7100 to D800

The Af-S is supposed to be quicker focussing ( just ) and sharper than the af-d. Used they're around £110-£120 ( I picked one up this week for well under £100 ) but you can get the older D for half that.

If you want something special go for the sigma art f.4 or the 58mm f1.4 if money is no object

You got offered a D750 for £800! Just buy that.

24mp aps-c to 24mp FF is a boost in iso performance.
But he said he wants IQ improvement and apart from iso I could not see any difference at all between crop and FF 24mp sensors.
Surely a 36mp FF you should see an improvement in detail and if you crop an image.

Can't afford much.... Definitely can't afford the ART range..... I thought the 1.8d was better?

I don't think there's much in it - maybe "different" is a better description

He spends a lot of time knocking buyers prices down and then withdraws from the sale. Therefore losing the OP money.

Yes I have seen some like that. There is one on the Nikon threads all the time who winds everyone up so much.

he says his main camera is a d7100 and works as a freelance photographer would be better saying waste of space
