Imac ...refurb

Official Apple store? They've got a refurb section with various configurations. Depends on which spec you were after and how much wanting to spend.

Which model were you looking at?

Could anyone recomend anywere for a refurbished imac ...Thanks

Jigsaw24 are pretty decent, they are an authorised reseller and generally have a decent amount of stock.

Hi if i was to be honest i have not got a clue ,i need something for video rendering so i presume a good size graphic card is a must ,i have never owned one before and this will be my first ,i have looked around and just seems to so much choice ,i dont want to go to much over £1500 as i have a couple of expensive lenses i need si its going to be a balancing act with imac and lenses ..

What sort of video rendering? Just converting video files or actually editing footage and then rendering the output?

Yes editing the footage and rendering the output, its been nearly 18 years since i edited any video footage and i know a lot as changed ,basicalythe imac will just be for my photoand video

How about this and you always add more ram to an iMac 27 very easy to do https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/produ...uad-core-Intel-Core-i5-with-Retina-5K-display

@den I have this iMac with upgraded memory and a SSD and the thing flies at photo and video tasks. Get yourself Final Cut Pro X and it'll be a perfect match for your video tasks. Alternatively the free iMovie will do fine until you're ready to invest more.

The thing is quiet, the screen is brilliant and overall a tidy setup.
