Harvard Air-to-Air

Do I understand it's Peterborough, On?
That would explain the Canadian badge.

Cool takes btw!

Great shots!

Thanks!

Very nice Harry.
May I ask what type of aircraft you shoot from?

Hi Keith, it's normally a C172. It does pose it's problem being high wing, and of course shooting to the rear is hard work. As you can see in shot 3, head on (ish) images are possible if you have a good camera ship pilot who will put in a bit of side slip - it's all in the brief!

Nice set

Hi Harry
I did wonder if it was a C172. I did quite a few hours in those in the late 1980s but never as a camera ship, although it was quite usual to side slip to give passengers a better view of a ground feature. Happy days!
Thanks for the reply.

Excellent, I'm green :)

Thank you.

Yes - it's not the best camera ship in history, sure, but it's not bad. To be honest, the worst thing is the speed. Still, managed to do a Spitfire with one so?!

Ha, thanks! It's a great opportunity to get to do this kind of photography and I'm really pleased with how I have improved since I first started.
