Wild Swans! …post them in this communal thread.

These are absolutely not to the standard of everyone else's here, but I wanted to share some early attempts I made whilst borrowing my friends compact. I imagine it's not possible, but if it is, I'd be interested to see people's edits.

Very elegant! (y)
See if you could recover the whites a tad!

That, Steve, begs the question: Is it looking up or down? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::wacky:

The resident pair of swans on my local pond are very protective of their small pond.
At the weekend a group of 5 swans arrived on the pond and for over an hour the resident male and female had a running battle with the group of 5 swans.
Eventually they were chased off.

I'll bet that was some racket they made - number 3 is brutal! Great job!

Took this one the other week. A bit over exposed to the right but I was shooting something else and quickly snapped this one before the moved.

My four year old girl just saw this on the screen on her way to bed and said "AWWW sooooo cute - keep that picture on the computer until tomorrow so I can see it properly" You don't get higher praise than that!

Mike, though this catch is pretty good, I would recommend
you look for what I have at the moment… not in terms of a-
animals but of BGs. Did you notice my BGs? … all wild!

If you can follow and capture birds, you can access
almost anything! Have a good time, Mike!

Really enjoying this thread.
I wonder can birds be in love, if they can I reckon these two are pretty close.
Please click on the photo for the larger view, thanks.

That was the purpose of it!

That's an anthropomorphique question! Think that these are
warm blooded reptilians… and that won't get you close to an
answer other than they are hormones regulated like we are.
I reckon these two are pretty close.
The way I see it, these two are teenager males, Tony! :jawdrop::D

… cool take btw!

Swans do these moves all around the year and seems to
say "we belong here" or something like that.

Real Swan love is more on the tango side of life! :D

Just before it rained…
