Have been wanting to shoot something like this for ages, but struggled with a location, not having the space needed to make such a mess.

Eventually shot it in a local park, during the afternoon, and a still day.

Godox AD600BM + 80cm octa above and in front of the model

AD200 + 7" refelctor behind model to the right

What did you use as dust? And are you aware of the risk for dust explosions?

Great compositions. I like your photoshop work. Although there is some repetition in the dust where you've cloned/duplicated in the top 'swoosh' and particularly the 'wings'. Its an art to not show repetition, always a big give away. Did you add additional dust post?
Like them both but 1 looks a bit too good to be true - too uniform, too focussed an arc. Second one much more believable even if the cloning is perhaps more obvious (once pointed out, not sure I would have spotted it)

i.e. very nice but not entirely believable. But if you're not aiming for plausibility it matters not one jot.
