Spent 7 hours on and off, between Friday evening and Saturday looking for this Tawny before finding it sat above the nest Sunday morning, my first really good look and photos of a wild Tawny
Shot at Flamboro' in low light and sea mist, just a quick laptop edit, will take another look later on the monitor
Below, down in the hollow trunk they have two chicks that can't be far off branching, been a long time coming but a lovely bird to see

The pp'ing looked bl**dy awful! I'm using a 'new to me' laptop and won't be using it for anymore editing anytime soon
