Hi all.
Today I decided to go to another site I used to visit, I stopped going there the last 2 years as they have bad land management skills (they cut the grass too early) so lots of Butterflies disappear.
Today`s visit was the 1st time this year and it was nice to see lots of different butterflies about.
Here is a small selection from that sortie.

Awesome.
Where the hell are you finding these?
We're having a butterfly drought in the south.

I have seen a few - not as many as I would like, saying that most of them fly off before I get close enough. The worst is a white species which I cannot even get close enough to ID.
Graham did you take this early in the morning?

Thanks all for the comments.
Mr soupdragon, I am in the south but it's in France [emoji23][emoji23] even here this year its not fantastic for butterflies, my estimation is population of butterflies is down 40-55% on other years this is due to the lack of sun and a fair bit of rain and temps are down also.
Thanks Dave, whites are the same for me, little buggers they are.
Oh PS,
All my photo's are taken in the afternoon unless I'm on holiday. This time it was pm.
