Both Kestrel and LO have different nest spots this year after using the same ones for at least 5 years .
The Little owl is still south facing but the Kestrel as also gone south as aposed to west facing .
The chicks are at least 10 days later than last year but its good to see at least 5 possibly 6 ,shot taken hand held on the quarry edge with a very big drop ....looking at other shots they could be 7 but i reckon getting 5 fledging will be the norm if they are 7

I hope they do well. Kestrels have had a bit of a hard time so need all the little ones they can get. However I'm not sure if it's my imagination but I do seem to be seeing more of them, so maybe the numbers are beginning to recover.

I noticed up to 5 Kestrels at one time down the road from my work hunting the hedgerows along the road early in the year, like March time, but now it seems to be dominated by Buzzard's and I haven't seen the Kestrels since (Could be timing) so hopefully they just moved to better hunting grounds and have larger territories set up now they have young. But yes I'm with you, especially in the early Spring there seemed to be a higher concentration around me.
