I have been chasing Hobby's for a few years now and this season was low on numbers but there was still a bit of action and I got a few photos. I thought I would put a few photos together to give those of you who might not have seen one of these stunning birds an idea of what they are like when hunting bugs and dragonflies.

I might have posted a couple before in what have you seen today but I was after a set which shows their skill.

A stunning set that gives a great story all together (different locations???)....................all with such cameracraft.

Thanks for sharing :)

Cheers Phil been a tough year getting anything
Superb set Martin.
Thanks Laurence great to hear from you, not long to the rut if you fancy meeting up at Bushy or Richmond.
Not that you need any validation from me, but I love the second one.
And that last one is just awesome.
Good choice, the 2nd is my favourite and was the hardest to get, many hours of missing other stuff just waiting for this one pass. The last shows what a Hobby is about and why they are such great and difficult birds to photograph.

wonderful, great photography
