The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Just a simple Fujigraph taken at Dungeness Kent UK of one of the many old boats on the beach that have just been Left To Rot.
In the background you can see a few other things scattered around the beach that have just been Left Behind.
I'm also working on a personal project called Things Left Behind and this will be one of the shots included.

X-T2, 10-24mm Lens, 1/420th @ F8, ISO-200, Monopod.

Just done mine :D

A lot of lens news from Fuji and frankly, some eye watering prices. The 33mm 1.0 is the dream for me but I'm guessing it's going to be a £2k lens at this rate.

The 200mm f2 looks stunning but it's niche in the extreme at that price. Sony FE is looking quite affordable!

Only really the 16-80 f4 that interests me there, would be all I need when travelling along with the 10-24.
Do hope they have aperture markings on the lens this time unlike the 10-24, no reason why not if its a constant f4.

I'm sure that the Fuji XF200mm lens will be a stunner - but at a stunning price and something that I certainly couldn't justify at my level of competence. This is one of the reasons that I have been playing around with legacy lenses - whilst they will not be up to the Fuji standard in terms of sharpness and image stabilization etc.etc. they are still very good and amazing value for the money they cost. Yes, they are manual focus but with the X-T2s focus peaking, that really isn't a big issue.

XF8-16mm £1799
XF200mm F2 £5,399 (teleconverter expected to be £600)

Disgusting price for a tc. Sort it out fuji.

All of the new glass looks far too expensive, even £1800 for the 8-16, is nuts, same price as the Canon DSLR equivalent, albeit £500 less than the Sony 16-35 f2.8 which is probably its direct mirrorless competition!

The 8-16mm has a fixed hood/no filter ring, that’ll probably stop me pre-ordering :/

its a 12-24 equivalent not 16-35 - given the price of the Canon 11-24 F4 it looks fair, but if you factored in Sigma's 12-24 then it doesn't

I think you managed to convince yourself otherwise by the end of your post, Chris [emoji16]

The 33mm F1.0 looks interesting, probably the only one I'd be interested in. Unfortunately not out until 2020 as I read though.(y)

Here's a couple from my recent trip to the Hawk Conservancy Trust in Andover. Recommend it as a good day out, especially if you are a photographer. I've seen it grow from a couple of huts in a field to a pretty polished tourist attraction over the last 4 years or so. Really great to see that they're using the money generated/donated in very smart ways. I was teaching my missus how to use a camera for most of the day, and enjoying the moment for the rest of it so I didn't get many for myself, but here are a couple, link to the album here.

These are great captures. Which lens where you using? 100-400?
