Yes
I'm in the market for a new camera and I'd appreciate it if people could help me out with tried and tested shops they have bought from online or in the high street in the UK. I currently end up looking at jessops and London camera exchange for stuff to buy. Thanks in advance.

Yeah that's it [emoji1]

I'm still unsure what I'm going for because of my budget. Thinking of a Sony A7iii but might wait to see what nikon release this month. Looked at the d750 and d810 too as I have nikon glass.

I have around 2k without selling any of my stuff. I could pick up the Sony A7ii and a lens for that. The A7iii is better but I'll need to offload some stuff to buy a lens. Also there is an offer on the Sony A7Rii. Its 2k with £400 cash back that would make it £1600.The d750 and d810 are affordable. But this is all at jessops. I'm after more options

Thanks.

Do not buy the A7mk2 if you can stretch to the A7mk3.

Thanks. My gut feeling tells me that too, however it is tempting lol. The A7Rii draws my eye too. I'm hoping nikon push out a mirrorless as good as the A7iii this month. Even if it's a tad more expensive it may be worth it.

and then go on to tell us you have nikon glass,, a list of possibles and an idea of budget..

Jessops or london camera exchange I would say then :)

The A7rii is also a nice cam but unless you need the MPs the A7iii again is a better camera in every way for only that little more. Nikons move will be interesting if the adapter is as good as everyone hopes, probably best to wait when spending this kind of money, will save hassle and money switching systems. The D750 imo is a MUCH better camera than the A7ii and a real bargain for the performance it offers.

Jessops is in Birmingham too but I'd steer clear of them.

Last time I used them to get my sensor cleaned they made it worse and accused me of lying.

Only a few big retailers will stock a good selection of high-end cameras, the likes of WEX and Park Cameras etc. Be prepared to travel and phone ahead to check they have demonstrators available.

Yes not too far from Derby on train ,oh can you get in the train station at the moment.?
Used to take about 38 mins now you have to change and over an hour,is that right??”
