Here's one of a local telephone box. Think of it as a trunk call...

Thanks Andy, it's one of the few my wife has ever agreed to have on the wall!

ETA: BTW it was in terrible condition, there are 425 dust spot retouches!!!

Really nice Chris they put my found slides to shame, Yours MrBadger really show how good Kodachrome was at bringing out the colours ( matching what I have recently read about the film) and again are really sharp.

You're welcome to print a copy of it off as long as it's just for your own personal use (not for publication, putting on social media, copying, sale, etc.). If you click on the image in my post above it should take you to the Flickr page with the photo on it, then select download (the downward arrow shaped icon at the bottom of the page), select the 'original' size option, and save it to your computer.

That should give you a big enough image to print out - in fact the same size image that I got from scanning it on my Epson flatbed film scanner. You can print this 'arty' type one too if you like (taken on the same roll of film) :)

Here we go - my final roll of Kodachrome...

Nothing special, but I'm glad I did shoot one more roll before the end of the (processing) line...

and - bit of a cardinal sin really - a square crop from one of the shots, just, because...

wish I'd used the roll on something more spectacular or capable of showing off the films abilities, but at this point in time I could only get out and shoot very occasionally, as I was still full time carer to my Dad...

Love your Whitby Shots Bigyin It's my favorite place on the planet at the moment, I'm taking my caravan there in Mid July to have a better explore of the local Towns and villages, we always go there for an event of some sort so never normally get to explore !

Thanks, I have fond memories of them, mainly as they were pretty much the last "day trip" out I had with my Dad...After that point he wasn't really up for a full day out anywhere, so the memories of the day were important to me.

I must admit, Whitby was not the brightest place to take a 14.5 stone bloke in a non power assisted wheelchair... with that and my camera kit on my back, I'd had a good workout by the end of the day!

I've got some photos of Fox Glacier I took in April, Haven't had them processed yet, not entirely sure where the film is nor can I remember which camera I took... How ever from the vantage point it does not look like that any more!!

I only seem to have shot a few rolls of Kodachrome (there might have been some more before 1981, which is the first year for which I still have the photos) and I can't say I miss it. Nevertheless have are my contributions:

BRILL !

I have grabbed it and will be printing these A3 on my Pro-100 next weekend.
Shall I print 2 and send you one?

Reviving this old thread, wondering if anyone else has some old Kodachromes to share?

H'mm I've seen quite a few Kodachrome shots scattered in different threads even in old film shots comp......and can't see away of avoiding this as you can't have a page full of sticky's and would be a nightmare for mods to enforce that all Kodachrome shots to be posted here. Anway I'll post a repeat shot to join in:-
Taken about 50 years ago

That along the bottom, Golf Links Road? Been a good thirty odd years since I went on a horse down by the burrows.

I have hundreds of my dad's Kodachrome K64 slides which are really vivid and contrasty on the other hand I used K200 with my half frame cameras and it worked really well, never in your face, nice colours, not excessively contrasty.

...another copy taken about 50 years ago. This time have cropped the original as I\we have all tried to get "two in one" shot i.e. scenery plus family and sometimes forget about composition erm well I did.
Pentax S3and probably tak 55mm f1.8

Probably posted them all before but they'll be scattered all over the gaff and even more likely, no longer hosted.
Shot in 2010 and processed by Dwaynes in the final weeks of shutdown.

Some great shots there, John. Interesting, some of the colours are not what I'd generally associate with Kodachrome. But when I last looked through mine, I found quite a lot less traditional look, as well.

I think koda can be a tough scan if you commit to accurate reproduction.
That was my observation with the scan set up I had at the time, generally I had no colour corrections to make for any other slide.
Since scans are not my end game, I just let it run, I think the stand out failure are skin tones, the rest aren't too bad besides the odd pasty render..:)

I've found Kc from the early 70s can be tricky to scan, but the slides I took in the 80s seem to scan relatively easily.
